Coming from distinct professional backgrounds, Heather and Maggie bring complementary perspectives to their work, united by a shared appreciation for architecture, art, vintage and contemporary design, and the details that give a home character.
MAGGIE LEWIS
founding partner & Principal
Maggie brings a background in product development and creative leadership to DAMA. After several years leading product teams, she joined Una Malan, where her work in business and product development immersed her in the world of high-end furniture, textiles, and craftsmanship.
Her experience informs a thoughtful approach to material, furnishings, and sourcing, as well as a deep appreciation for how things are made.
HEATHER COHEN
founding partner & Principal
Heather came to interior design alongside a career in medicine and a lifelong interest in interiors, architecture, and art. After spending time with an AD100 interior designer, she established her own design practice, which grew organically through referrals before co-founding DAMA.
Her approach is intuitive and detail-driven, with a particular interest in art, vintage pieces, and the unexpected elements that give a home character.
